The students made a fire every night and gathered around it, sometimes with community members from nearby towns, to decompress and reflect on the day and their experiences throughout the week. The students were responsible for collecting firewood, building the fire, and maintaining it.
The Guadalupe St. Banner proposal is on the City Council agenda for May 29th at City Hall.
Our city partners have stressed that it is vital to get as much attendance at this meeting as possible in order to show the city that we are aligned in our commitment to revitalize and promote Guadalupe St. During the hearing, individuals are given the opportunity to speak for a maximum of 2 minutes. It would be extremely impactful to have as many business owners as possible voice their support in person to the City Council.
