commUNITYrocksTM

commUNITYrocksTM

Strengthening our sense of commUNITY
one rock at a time
www.commUNITYrocks.info

Thanks to our Youth Ambassadors and Community Educators
for launching this remindful, well-being initiative
to connect and inspire by painting and dispersing
hundreds of rocks with messages of help and hope.

To submit photos and map the placement of your rocks
use our Rock-Tracker APP below:

Interested in trying commUNITYrocksTM where you live?

YES! We are interested in helping make and place commUNITYrocks where we live!

How to Get Involved:
(Print the commUNITYrocks Guidelines Handout here.)

Gather Recommended Supplies:
To add messages to rocks, you need a few paint pens, a sharpie, and rocks.
To paint a base coat (not required) you also need
a small amount of base paint and a paint brush plus a protective tarp.
Contact us to purchase or sponsor a supply kit.
To add info on the bottom of the rock, you need a sharpie.

Paint Base Coat (optional): paint a base coat on one side of each rock. Let dry.

Add Messages: Use paint pens to add messages of help or hope. See samples below.
On the bottom of the rock, use a sharpie to add commUNITYrocks.info

Place Rocks in the Community: place your rocks in the community in a location where others can discover and enjoy them safely.

Track and Share: If you have access to a phone/camera, take a photo of your rock where you place the rock in the community. Use our rock-tracker APP on your phone or computer to submit the photo and location. Rock-tracker APP https://arcg.is/1q5Cim
