A message we need now more than ever. Thank you Tim McGraw for this beautiful prayer and blessing. It speaks to the some of the intentions and outcomes of the grassroots work we do through the Community Learning Network...and what is possible when generations are reconnected and our roots in community and family and earth are restored. From the hoghan and the elders, to the mountains and rivers and corn fields and adobe and horses, from the community educators and learning liaisons that persist and endeavor to make the world a better place and to the youth ambassadors and all the amazing humans we work with and serve, thank you for never giving up on goodness. We are a part of something so much greater and bigger than ourselves...and something so very needed now in the world, more than ever.... Special thanks to Serina Padgett, a local 7th grade student from Saint Michael's school in Santa Fe, New Mexico! Serina recently wrote an article about the Community Learning Network's "Love Where We Live" initiative and the local Youth Ambassadors program. The article was published in the March issue of Greenfire Times. Read the article here and visit the Youth Ambassadors section of our website to learn more about the program and how you can help! www.communitylearningnetwork.org |
