Join Santa Fe in celebrating
Global Entrepreneurship Week! The Global Entrepreneurship Network has teamed with communities around the world to help millions of people unleash their ideas and start and scale new businesses through Global Entrepreneurship Week. The campaign began in 2008 with an emphasis on inspiring young people to make their mark and has quickly grown to become a comprehensive effort that engages entrepreneurs, investors, policymakers, researchers, support organizations and others collaborating to advance economic growth and innovation in more than 170 countries around the world. Roughly 35,000 events and competitions worldwide will take place during Global Entrepreneurship Week – connecting nearly 10 million participants to potential collaborators, mentors and even investors. Dozens of world leaders on every continent and a network of more than 15,000 partner organizations support the initiative every year. |

"Will the five major players—Google, Amazon, Facebook, Apple, Microsoft—thwart or embolden start-up and entrepreneur culture? How has entrepreneurship changed over the last 20 years (or has it?) What policies at the state and local level would help ensure that entrepreneurs have a chance to thrive in our community?"

Global Entrepreneur Week in Santa Fe included a luncheon with Mayor Alan Weber honoring some of our amazing local talent and the local organizations who support regional entrepreneurs.
