New Mexico Youth Ambassadors Seven and Simon Ballard and Jadeyn Segura worked with educator Jennifer Nevarez of NM TechWorks and filmmaker Doug Crawford of Santa Fe Filmworks to record interviews with City Councilors and community members participating in Bike-to-Work Week events in Santa Fe in May in order to gather civic concerns and local input, photos, video, and film footage for the educational film being developed to document the Guadalupe Street Reconstruction Project and process.
The San Francisco Plaza on Guadalupe Street has been under renovation for a while in preparation of opening a new Starbucks on the corner next to the popular local restaurant Il Vicino. Starbucks is now open, and there is plenty of indoor space, as well as an outdoor patio, for sitting and enjoying coffee and tea and internet access for working on a laptop or tablet.
