Connect New Mexico initiative
CommUNITY Learning Network (CLN) is working with the State of New Mexico and Office of Broadband Access & Expansion (OBAE) to launch the Connect New Mexico initiative as the state mobilizes for connectivity. Support included stakeholder engagement and outreach, development of the Broadband Equity Access and Deployment (BEAD) plan and the Digital lEquity plan, and securing of more than $675 million in federal funding for broadband access, adoption, and use. https://connect.nm.gov

Supporting Tech Training in New MexicoCommUNTIY Learning Network (CLN) supports real-life learning and the Santa Fe Community College (SFCC) PROTEC program that provided Fiber Optic Technician certification training, Film & Television Production Assistant training, OSHA & Environmental Safety training, and Tech-for-Business training for students. www.protecsantafe.com

Indigenous Connectivity Summit
CommUNITy Learning Network collaborated with the Internet Society to co-organize and co-host this week-long event. Over 180 registrants attended the free (live-streamed) program, from the far reaches of Arctic Canada, Alaska, the U.S. Southwest, Oaxaca and Argentina, plus Africa and beyond, and gathered to shed light on digital divides and to explore issues and themes around community networking and sustainability, over four days of workshops, panels, presentations, storytelling and open discussions. Northern New Mexico STEAM Coalition
CommUNITY Learning Network helped LANL Foundation and LANL Community Partnerships Office establish the the Northern New Mexico STEAM Coalition including 13 counties, 19 tribes, and 20 school districts and hosted the online STEAM Hub portal during covid to provide parents, students, and teachers with resources for STEAM Learning during the pandemic.
